Keep it casual
Sushi Boss, 803 W. 10th St., Ste. B DYK: Sushi is historically a casual finger food? Sushi Boss is a low-key sushi scene that’s great for a quick lunch break near IUPUI and some might even refer to it as the “Subway for sushi” where you can create your own rolls. Pro tip: it delivers.
Bang for your buck
Isuka Hibachi & Express Sushi, 38 E. 16th St.
Who says sushi has to be expensive? Check out Isuka’s nigiri rolls for $7 or classic rolls for $5-9.
Grocery store great
Needler’s Fresh Market, 320 N. New Jersey St.
Convenience stores + grocers are the best places to score impulse sushi. Needler’s has delicious takeaway sushi for on-the-go eaters.
Drink up
Blue Sushi Sake Grill, 2721 E. 86th St., Ste 100
An underrated element of the sushi experience? The booze. Blue Sushi Sake Grill keeps the drinks flowing with a good selection of cocktails, tea, wine + even sake flights.
