  • After months of gathering public input, the IPS school board unanimously passed the Rebuilding Stronger plan, which will include closing six buildings + reconfiguring elementary and middle school grades throughout the district — in an attempt to address its most pressing issues like declining enrollment, financial instability, and educational inequities. 🏫 (IBJ)

  • Former Colts announcer Mike Jansen took his Peyton Manning Super Bowl ring to an auction house last week. He was fired by the Colts in September and was replaced by Colts writer JJ Stankevitz for the remainder of the season.   • Purdue University researchers are working to make fully autonomous vehicles for people with disabilities a reality. The team developed a vehicle that has a ramp and restraints — and their EASI RIDER project won a US Department of Transportation competition.
