Kountry Kitchenâs new restaurant and community center in the Kennedy-King neighborhood will receive $1.2 million through the Grow Indianapolis fund. The Metropolitan Development Commission approved DMDâs economic revitalization area and 10-year real estate property tax abatement to support the new center. đ€

Texas-based Academy Sports + Outdoors plans to open its first location in the Indianapolis area at the site of the former Marsh store in Westfield at 1960 E. Greyhound Pass. The 73,400-sqft store will sell sporting and hunting gear, athletic and casual shoes, outdoor clothing, bicycles, and fitness equipment. đ (IBJ)

As we sit down in front of our laptops for the last time in 2022, itâs nice to reflect back on the year behind us and be thankful for all the great stories we were able to write.
