Small-batch brewer Wabash Brewing LLC (5328 W. 79th St.) announced Tuesday that it plans to close permanently by Wednesday, Feb. 1. Wabash is the second craft brewery in Indy to announce its closure in 2023 after Black Acre Brewing Co. 🍺 (IBJ)

Bastian Solutions — a company that makes conveyor systems for distribution warehouses — is planning a $130 million corporate campus and manufacturing facility on 162 acres in Noblesville near 146th Street and Promise Road. After being based in South Bend for decades, one of the Indy area’s largest commercial real estate brokerages, Bradley Co., announced its decision to make Indianapolis its headquarters city. Indiana chefs make 2023 James Beard Awards semifinalists

The semifinalists for the 2023 James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards were announced yesterday, and two central Indiana chefs made the list.
Bluebeard’s Chef Abbi Merriss and 9th Street Bistro’s Chef Samir Mohammad made the list of Best Chefs in the Great Lakes (IL, IN, MI, OH).
Winners will be celebrated at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards Ceremony on Monday, June 5 in Chicago.
