All pools will be open Wednesday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. + 3 p.m.-6 p.m. with the exception of Thatcher Park’s pool, which is closed on Sundays.
There are 10 other public pools that are not yet available for public use. Indy Island Aquatic Center at 8575 E. Raymond St. + Bethel Park’s pool at 2850 Bethel Ave. are currently closed for maintenance but should reopen soon. Ellenberger Park’s pool at 5301 E. St. Clair St. is experiencing mechanical issues, but should reopen before the swim season is over. As always, we’ll keep you posted.
Due to a staffing shortage, additional pools aren’t quite ready to open. If you or someone you know is interested in working at a pool this summer, applications can be found on the city’s website.

Splash pads
If you’re looking for something a bit more shallow, a splash pad might be for you. These are typically made of concrete and have motion-detection to release streams of water + mist.
You can find them all around the city, including places like Holliday Park (6363 Spring Mill Dr.) + Bertha Ross Park (3700 N. Clifton Ave.), where you can cool off after a long hike or get a view of the historic Crown Hill Cemetery. See the full list of splash pads.
