Be bold and get cold. That’s what Special Olympics Indiana is inviting Hoosiers to do as part of its Polar Plunge on Saturday, March 4 at Eagle Creek Park.
The annual icy dip is a fundraiser that has raised over $10 million in the past 24 years for the organization’s athletes and programs — supporting 16,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Interested in taking the plunge? Participants must raise at least $85 for the cause before signing up. You can register online or register in person on the day of the plunge between 8-11 a.m. Pro tip: there’s a Virtual Plunge and a Virtual Runfor those who aren’t keen on getting their feet wet.
