If you like local coffee, you’ve probably noticed that there’s no shortage of locally-owned shops to get your caffeine fix around Indianapolis.
According to Indianapolis Coffee Guide, local coffee shops are on track to outnumber Starbucks locations in the Indianapolis area.

First Baptist Athletics — the youth sports organization affiliated with First Baptist Church at 86th and College — is in the process of requesting city approval for a $10 million improvement project for the fields and facilities, including a new gymnasium. ‘Dining out for Life’ annual fundraiser in Indianapolis, IN

Did you know that last year a total of 14,250 people were living with HIV/AIDS in Indiana — with the majority of those living in central Indiana?
Local not-for-profit Damien Center is the state’s oldest and largest AIDS service organization (ASO) and serves 6,000+ individuals affected.
On Thursday, April 20, Damien Center will be holding its 29th annual “Dining Out For Life” fundraiser, where more than 75 participating restaurants in the area will donate proceeds from dine-in, carryout, and delivery orders to the Damien Center.

Another favorite local coffee shop of mine that is just south of the Indianapolis area is Fresh Pots Coffee in downtown Greenwood. If you haven’t seen its drink menu for April, it may just convince you to make the trip.
