Pop quiz: how many trivia nights does Indy have every week?

Answer: too many to count, but we’ve done our best to round up some of your favorites, as well as some of our own.

Top picks

Guggman Haus Brewing Co. | 1701 Gent Ave. | Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. | This weekly quiz night hosted by Hambone’s Entertainment draws in upwards of 200 people, so if you’re looking to challenge yourself or maybe just interested in hearing all the creative team names, this might be the place for you.

Four Finger Distillery | 630 Virginia Ave. | Tuesdays at 7 p.m. | The evening of questions hosted by Nerdy Talk Trivia might just win your team a gift card.

The Tap | 306 N. Delaware St. | Wednesdays at 8 p.m. | The game consists of six rounds with three questions each — plus you can wager between zero and 20 points to boost your final score. It’s hosted by Challenge Entertainment.

Britton Tavern | 14005 Mundry Dr., Fishers | Wednesdays at 7 p.m. | The top five teams win gift cards at this quiz night, said to be the “best trivia show in Indy.”

The Garage Food Hall | 906 Carrollton Ave. | Mondays at 7 p.m. | This night is hosted by the The Quizzler — self-described as “the arch-villain of Indianapolis (and virtual) trivia.

Black Circle | 2201 E. 46th St. | Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. | You can really stretch your brain muscles at this trivia evening, hosted by Emily Strange.

Metazoa Brewing Co. | 140 S. College Ave. | Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. | If you tend to score higher in the pop culture category, this one’s for you, with themes like Disney movies, The Office, and Friends.

Centerpoint Brewing Co. | 1125 E. Brookside Ave. | Thursdays at 7 p.m. | You can expect questions like, “Which two types of whales produce ivory?” at this night of questions hosted by Indy’s Live Trivia.

Sports
  • Part of the Colts schedule has been unveiled. The team will play nine out of 17 games at home, and one of their road games has a lot more travel than usual. The Colts will be heading to Germany to play against the Patriots on Sunday, Nov. 12. The complete schedule will be released today. (WRTV)
  • FYI, race fans: there’s a lot of counterfeiters looking to sell you a fake parking pass for events at the IMS. These tickets are being sold for three to four times the face value on ticket platforms. Make sure your pass is legit — get it here. (WTHR)

  • After being open just short of two years, Green District announced its final day of dishing salad on Monument Circle was on Friday, May 5. If you’re still craving the Louisville-based fast-casual salad, you can go to its location at 1250 E. 86th St. (IBJ)

  • The Latino Business Support Network — a group of Latino-led nonprofits — has officially launched + has already supported nearly 200 businesses. The network is working to grow the entrepreneurial population in the service, construction, and janitorial industries and optimize resources. Check it out. (WISH)

  • $20,000. That’s how much money was donated by DICK’S Sporting Goods for soccer equipment in Thatcher Park on Tuesday. New youth and hybrid goals for football, rugby, lacrosse, and soccer will be added. Naptown United and Soccer Indiana will be some of the teams using the new donations. (WRTV)
Family
  • The My Healthy Baby program has been officially rolled out statewide after its initial launch in 2020. With this new system, families enrolled in Medicaid can be connected to a support provider who can provide access to free tools + resources, and answer questions throughout the pregnancy and during the first year of the baby’s life.   • Eight out of nine bands chosen to perform at the 67th annual 500 Festival Parade on Saturday, May 27 at 11:45 a.m. downtown are from Indiana, including the Indianapolis Public Schools All-City Marching Band. More than 200,000 attendees are expected, including the governor + players from Indy Eleven. (WISH)

🎨 An a-fair to remember

Broad Ripple Art Fair returns on Saturday, May 20

The Indianapolis Art Center will once again gather more than 150 artists selling anything from ceramics to textiles for its 51st annual Broad Ripple Art Fair on May 20-21.

The outdoor art + music festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the theme “Better Together.” Because May is Mental Health Awareness Month, the fair will feature a wellness village for the first time. It will offer an opportunity to discuss the benefits of creative wellness and provide resources for environmental, financial, social/emotional, and physical health.

There will be a special preview party on Friday, May 19 featuring music from the Indianapolis Jazz Collective for those who purchase the VIP Weekend Experience ticket.
