Paradox Lounge, 1059 Virginia Ave. | This nightlife lounge opened in Fountain Square earlier this year. Pro tip: Come dressed in your best.
The English, 651 E. 54th St. | Open since late March, you can find this speakeasy-style bar in SoBro + indulge in their unique cocktails featuring tequila, bourbon, and champagne. Bonus: It also has an outdoor patio.
The English is located in the same building as The Bulldog Bar and Lounge in SoBro.
BlankUS Luxury Lounge, 501 N. College Ave. | This lounge features romantic music, food for all meals, a bar, and an upscale experience. Pro tip: Dress code is strictly enforced, so dress to impress.
Nowhere Special, 608 Mass Ave. | This cocktail lounge opened up in the former Libertine Liquor Bar spot in June. Enjoy the swanky + sophisticated vibe with a cocktail (or mocktail) and a menu of bar snacks with Caribbean and Southeast Asian influences.
Turner’s Bar, 1060 N. Capitol Ave., Ste 1-104| Among the new additions to the Stutz building, this laid-back bar showcases classic cocktails, cold beer, and an old school pool table. Bonus: It also has a surprise in store for its patrons with a literal “hole in the wall.”

The Percussive Arts Society announced that Indianapolis will remain the host city for the group’s international convention through at least 2028. This year’s PASIC event is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 8-Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Indiana Convention Center. (IBJ)

The owner of the Circle Tower office building on Monument Circle is facing foreclosure, according to IBJ. A lawsuit filled by Centier Bank alleges that the Chicago co-working company Expansive, which bought the 14-story art deco building in 2017, has fallen behind on loan payments for the property. (IBJ)
