This Indianapolis soul food restaurant is offering a Thanksgiving catering package that serves up to 10 people for $129. It includes your choice of smoked turkey breast or ham, two sides (mashed potatoes, green beans, or dressing), and cornbread muffins. Desserts like peach cobbler and sweet potato cheesecake are also available. Orders will be accepted through Friday, Nov. 17, or until all catering slots are filled.

The Pacers and Noblesville city leaders broke ground on the Noblesville Events Center, which will become home of the Pacers G League franchise at Innovation Mile — as well as a space for concerts, conventions, and other community events. It’s planned to be completed by the 2025-2026 season. (WTHR)

Indy is counting down the days to a once-in-a-lifetime event — the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024 — and even local schools are preparing. Center Grove announced it will be using a waiver day and closing all schools for the eclipse, which will extend the district’s spring break by an extra day. (WRTV)

Are you ready for it? We’re less than a year out from Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour on Nov. 1-3, 2024 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Downtown hotels and businesses are already coming up with a game plan. The Indianapolis Zoo is welcoming another new addition, this time a baby kangaroo. The zoo said one of the zookeepers noticed a “new little face” peeking out of the pouch of two-year-old red kangaroo Ziva, who arrived at the zoo in 2022 for the Kangaroo Crossing exhibit. Welcome, little joey.(WISH)

The Speedway Animal Rescue is looking for answers after a puppy was abandoned at IND airport this week. The rescue posted on social media that the dog is about four to five months old, has stitches on his front leg, and a body bandage. The dog, who they named Boeing, is neutered + does not have a microchip, but is safe with a foster. (WISH)
