Are concerts on your 2024 bucket list? Hoosiers will be happy to know that the new year is bringing an epic lineup of musical performances to Indianapolis.
We’ve put together a list of just some of the artists that will be making a stop in central Indiana over the next several months.

Even though tickets aren’t currently available online, we couldn’t fail to mention that pop star Taylor Swift is bringing her “Eras” tour to Lucas Oil Stadium for three nights (Friday, Nov. 1-Sunday, Nov. 3).

Indianapolis Public Schools’ board approved a 7.4% wage increase for school service and support workers. Employees will receive a ~$2,000 wage increase + will receive back pay as of July 1, 2023. The contract runs through June 30, 2025. (WTHR)

Mina Starsiak Hawk, star of HGTV’s “Good Bones,” announced she would be closing her Bates-Hendricks store by the end of the year, but according to an interview with People, she’s decided to move her business to Hamilton County in 2024. She may even start renovating homes in Noblesville. (WTHR)

Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc. plans to open a 25,000-sqft Nordstrom Rack store location at Hamilton Town Center in Noblesville in the fall of 2024. (IBJ)

After nearly a decade in business, The Pint Room on Carmel’s Main Street has closed. The restaurant, known for its selection of burgers and beer, closed due to “financial reasons” and the space will become available on Monday, Jan. 1. (Current)
Cause
In just a couple of months, the 2024 NBA All-Star Game will take place downtown — and so will the first-ever 24-hour NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service to help fight hunger. It will need ~6,000 volunteers to help pack 1 million meals (Thursday, Feb. 15-Friday, Feb. 16) to be distributed to food pantries all around the state. Register. (WTHR)

It’s official. The state’s newest professional indoor football team announced it will be called the The Fishers Freight, with its logo sporting a Nickel Plate Road freight train with blue, black, and yellow colors. Games will be held at the new Fishers Event Center starting in March 2025. (FOX59)
