Cocktail trends come and go, but the espresso martini appears to be here to stay.

The iconic espresso martini originated in the 90s but has since reemerged as a star, thanks to social media throughout the pandemic — even becoming one of the 10 most-ordered drinks in America in 2022.

It’s not hard for us to espresso our feelings about this martini, so we’re helping you celebrate National Espresso Martini Day (March 15) with a list of spots where you can get the caffeinated cocktail around the Circle City.

Parlor Public House, 600 E. Ohio St., Ste. B
Cocktails are served at this trendy spot after 5 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. The Espresso-tini ($13) is made with your choice of Reyka Vodka, Pierre Ferrand Cognac, Old Forester Bourbon, or El Jimador Blanco Tequila.

1933 Lounge, Indianapolis + Fishers
The Espresso Martini ($15) at this bar by St. Elmo is made with a shot of espresso, Stoli Vanilla, Nocello, and Woodford Reserve chocolate bitters.

I’m a zero proof girly, so I tried an espresso martini at Memento Zero Proof Lounge in Fishers — and it was the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. I’ve tried a couple alcoholic espresso martinis and I couldn’t do it, but I drank every sip of Memento’s version. The same drink might not be on the current menu, however there is an Irish coffee listed online.
