Round and round the small plastic balls go, six randomly selected from the maelstrom weighing no more than a feather but carrying the weight to change lives.
We can’t be the only ones who have daydreamed about winning the lottery, but our fantasizing is in overdrive ahead of the Mega Millions draw tonight. The jackpot sits at an estimated $560 million.
That got us thinking — what would even just $1 million get you in Indy? Here’s a look at some active million-dollar listings.
1507 Broadway St. | 4 Bedroom, 3 Bath
Having an in-ground pool in your backyard in Indy — especially downtown — can be considered a luxury. This 6,434-sqft single family home in the Old Northside neighborhood has that, plus historic charm. It was home to Indianapolis’s first City County Councilwoman. The home features quality oak hardwood, stained glass windows, and ornate fireplaces.
13070 Mcduffee Run | 5 Bedroom, 4.5 Bath
When we said “million-dollar listings,” your mind probably went straight to Carmel. This 6,979-sqft home has a water view in the Brooks Landing at Prairie View community and is situated near the golf course. Highlights include a chef’s kitchen, a wine cellar, a home theater, and a spacious family room with a wet bar.

3910 N. State Road 135 | 4 Bedroom, 1.5 Bath
Looking to start a business in Franklin? This half-acre lot currently has a 1,170-sqft single family home sitting on it, but this listing is priced for proposed commercial use. The location is ideal for a business to receive tons of traffic. The property is currently zoned residential and would need to be rezoned for commercial use.
By our calculations, if you won the lottery and bought one of these $1 million properties, you’d still have a decent chunk of change left over. So we gotta know, what else would you spend your winnings on in Indy?

The 425,000-sqft facility is planned to be six stories with 100 patient beds. It will include an emergency department, medical offices, and an ambulatory surgical center.
The campus will offer the following services:

The health network expects to complete the medical office building in the first quarter of 2025 + the surgery center, hospital service building, and hospital tower in mid-2026.
