Answered

We asked, “Do you own a home?” Here’s what you said:

  • 63% of you own a home — congrats. That’s slightly higher than the official census figure, which estimates that 54.9% of Indy residents own their home.
  • 26% of you said you own a home not in Indy, but in a surrounding city. If you’re in Hamilton County, you’re in good company; 76.3% of residents own homes.
  • 15% of you are renting.
  • A single respondent answered yes, but from another state. Howdy from Indy, wherever you are.
