$12 million. That’s how much Keep Indianapolis Beautiful received from the US Forest Service to improve Indy’s urban tree canopy over the next five years. That will include planting and maintaining 4,000+ new trees, particularly in 10 communities with little current tree cover. (Mirror Indy)
