Dull’s Tree Farm
This tree farm in Thorntown is fun to visit even if you’re not picking up a tree — there are lots of fun photo ops and it’ll make you feel like you’re in a Hallmark movie. But if you are there on a mission for the perfect tree, you’ll enjoy a wagon ride out to the field and back to choose your tree.

Announced

Calling all Crime Junkies. Ashley Flowers and Brit Prawat are taking their hit true crime podcast on the road — including a stop at the new Fishers Event Center on Thursday, March 6, 2025. The tour will dive into a chilling, never-before-covered, unsolved homicide. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m.

Cause

Safe Park Indy opened its first location in October, providing people who live out of their cars with a safe place to park — and the need was so great that it’s already opening a second location on the north side on Wednesday, Jan. 1. It’s looking for help from volunteers. (Mirror Indy)

Concert

Here’s to never growing up. Avril Lavigne announced that she’s extending her sold-out “Greatest Hits” tour with special guest Simple Plan to include a stop at Ruoff Music Center on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. (WTHR)

Hoosier

Joey Chestnut is heating things up (with horseradish) during the Big Ten Football Championship weekend in Indy. The Westfield resident will compete in the St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail Eating Championship at the South Street tailgate on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 3:30 p.m.

Sports

The Pacers gave up 108 points in three quarters during their blowout loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. What went wrong, even after the Pacers scored 45 first-quarter points? Locked On host Tony East breaks it all down.

In the spirit of the holiday season and this global day of giving, there’s one easy way Hoosiers can help make a difference in and around Circle City.

How? Donate to Second Helpings.

With the rising demand for Second Helpings’ meals and programs, donations are essential to sustaining their operations this winter. Your gift will support and grow Second Helpings’ Hunger Relief, Food Rescue, and Culinary Job Training programs.

Bonus: All donations made today to the local organization will be matched up to $30,000, thanks to the generosity of JRA Architecture and an anonymous donor.

The positive impact of your contribution will be twice as nice, giving Second Helpings the ability to:
