It’s a new era. The Indy Fuel are hitting the ice for the first time at the team’s new home — Fishers Event Center — when the puck drops at 7 p.m. tomorrow night.
The team will take on their divisional opponent, the Iowa Heartlanders, in this historic game. The Fuel will play 36 regular season games at home + 72 games total.
The recently opened venue features a 7,500-seat capacity and will serve as home to three local professional sports teams: Indy Fuel (ECHL), Indy Ignite (Pro Volleyball), and Fishers Freight (Indoor Football). It will also offer an intimate setting for the community to experience shows, concerts, and private events.

Stay weather aware, Indy. By this morning’s rush hour, look for temperatures near 12º, sub-zero wind chills, and dicey driving in some spots — there may even be some school delays. The weather is expected to get better by the weekend, with Friday’s high reaching 30º, and 49º + sunny by Sunday. (WTHR)
