“Indy, are you ready to rumble?” This Saturday, Indy will become the wrestling capital of the world, kicking off a first-of-its-kind partnership between Indiana Sports Corp and WWE that guarantees the Circle City will host Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and SummerSlam each once over the next eight years.
Royal Rumble will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, with more than 65,000 fans expected to pack into the stadium to see their favorite WWE superstars.
How to take part
Even if you don’t have tickets to the big event, you’re still sure to witness some of the excitement around the city — and there are other ways to get in on the fun.
The Fountain Fletcher District will host a pro wrestling-themed comedy show at White Rabbit Cabaret, a Royal Rumble After Party at World Famous Hotboys, and more special events. Get the full details.
You can meet some of the biggest names in wrestling during WrestleCon at Indianapolis Marriott Downtown Friday and Saturday.
There will be a tailgate party hosted by Chreece at The Hangar on Saturday, featuring rap battles until the watch party starts.
The WWE Superstore will be free and open to the public at the Convention Center, with paid meet + greet and photo opportunities.
