Nora library goers, get ready to be booked and busy. The Indianapolis Public Library’s Nora Branch will celebrate its reopening after extended renovations on Saturday, May 3 at 10 a.m. The event will feature speeches, performances, and activities.
Outdoors
Riverside Adventure Park is getting ready to welcome people of all ages to its new fitness and playground equipment, four miles of trails + new shelters. A ribbon cutting will be held on Thursday, May 1 and phase two of the project will begin next year. (WRTV)

This is your friendly reminder that the 500 Festival Mini-Marathon will take place next Saturday, May 3 and draw tens of thousands to downtown Indy. Check road closures and the race schedule. (WTHR)

This Saturday, April 26 is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day — a biannual event that encourages community members to safely dispose of unwanted, unneeded, and expired prescription medications. Visit IMPD and state police at several locations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
