News Notes

Ranked

U.S. News & World Report has some hot takes on Indiana. It ranked the Hoosier state as the No. 33 best state based on factors like education, health care, and crime — but also ranked Carmel and Fishers as the No. 2 and No. 4 best places in the nation to live.

Traffic

Curves ahead. Speedway announced plans to name the roundabout at 16th and Main streets the Al Unser Sr. Roundabout, in honor of the four-time Indy 500 winner. The project is part of a $2.1 million project to improve + beautify the area’s roads, with construction slated to begin next month. (WTHR)

Theater

The Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel is going big for its 15th season, with everyone from Jay Leno to Mr. Schue from “Glee” stopping by. Gleek out over the rest of the lineup and get tickets. (IndyStar)
