Summer is coming. The summer solstice is this Friday, June 20, which marks the astronomical start of the season. It’s also the longest day of the year — measured by the amount of daylight — and the sun will set in Winston-Salem at 9:16 p.m.

Number

Mansion Monday

Meridian Hills, that’s where I wanna be. Skip the million dollar price tag with this 3,200 sqft ranch home with a marble fireplace, in-ground pool, and built-ins galore.
We think cherry red nails would look good on you. In fact, fruit nails are trending — and cherry is the most searched fruit nail color in Indiana. Get in on the trend and take a picture with your viral nails holding a cherry-infused Coat Check Cola. (Flourish)

City Guide

🍻 It’s a brewtiful day

INDYtoday: INDY_Kismetic Beer Company_JUN25
Besides its delicious brews, Kismetic is also known for its themed trivia nights, with recent installments including “Severance” and “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” | Photo by @kismeticbeerco
If there’s one thing we know about Indy, it’s this: We love our beer.

In fact, the Circle City was named the No. 7 best beer city in the US, thanks to the 30+ taprooms across town serving up locally brewed pints. Hold our beer while we walk you through each and every Indy brewery.

Big Lug Brewing Co. | Owners Ed and Eddie (no, there is not an Edd involved, to our knowledge) are the masterminds behind this brewery. Its patio opens right up to the Monon Trail so you can walk, run, or bike home.

Kismetic Beer Company | This BYO food spot opened in 2022. It focuses on lower ABV and lager styles served in a chic, retro-future taproom.

Black Circle | This brewery opened in 2016 and started producing its own spirits as well in 2022. As “Indy’s home for heavy music,” its event calendar is a nonstop lineup of heavy metal + drag shows.

Broad Ripple Brew Pub | An English-style pub with a vintage feel, Broad Ripple Brew Pub hit the scene as Indy’s very first brew pub in 1990. On Wednesdays, its brews are $2 off from 4 to 8 p.m.

The Buy

Olay Super Cream with sunscreen. The tried-and-true cream boasts better hydrating power than the No. 1 luxury moisturizer on the market — plus, it plumps, firms, and protects skin, making it a great daytime moisturizer to wear alone or under makeup.
