More than 270 affordable housing units are on the way to Indianapolis. Estimated to cost more than $70 million, the project by Carmel-based Sullivan Development will transform three vacant sites across Indy into low-income apartment complexes. Indianapolis’ Department of Public Works is shifting gears, scaling back the previously planned addition of bike lanes from 30th Street to 40th Street on Washington Boulevard in Mapleton-Fall Creek. Based on resident feedback, the lanes will now only be installed north of 34th Street to preserve existing street parking. (WISH)
