The colorful leaves starting to litter our lawn have confirmed it: Autumn is coming. Whether you’re looking to pick pumpkins or apples — or kids off the ground after a long day of fun — here are nine spots near the Circle City to satisfy your fall cravings.

Lark Ranch | Dates vary from Saturday, Sept. 20 through Saturday, Nov. 1 | After you’ve picked your pumpkins, you can easily spend a whole day here with activities like gem mining, pony rides, a rock wall, bungee trampolines, an adult zipline, and this year’s can’t-miss corn maze honoring Jim Irsay.

Russell Farms Pumpkin Patch | Dates vary from Saturday, Sept. 27 through Sunday, Oct. 26 | With two corn mazes, pedal tractors, inflatable slides, mini golf, and more, there’s something for everyone here — plus delicious food to keep you fueled up.

Leaders in Carmel hope to address recent waves of hate + negativity on social media with the Civility Summit, taking place at the Carmel Clay Library on Friday, Sept. 26 and Saturday, Sept. 27. Michigan-based aerial adventure park chain TreeRunner is building a tree-mendous new location at Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield. It’s expected to open in March 2026 with 20 zip lines + 50 climbing elements for all ages. (WTHR)

The owner of Lapis Lily Market and Trinket Club is opening a retail store + community space at The Stutz. Attend the soft opening on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 12 to 3 p.m. for cake and trinkets galore.

Four Finger Distillery shared that food partner Greeks has closed its doors. In its absence, the tasting room is encouraging patrons to order carryout from other local spots.

Chelsea Handler announced she’s bringing her stand-up comedy tour “The High and Mighty” to the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre on Saturday, April 11. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. (WTHR)
