Legacy

Nancy Leonard, wife of former Pacers coach Slick Leonard and “First Lady of Indiana Basketball,” died at 93. The Pacers said, “From organizing the now-legendary telethon that helped save the team to being a constant presence courtside as a true superfan, her passion for the organization made her beloved by generations.” (WTHR)

Next year, Indy will make history again as the first-ever host city for all three NCAA divisions and the NIT Championships. City leaders expect 70,000 fans to visit the Circle City to watch the tournaments. (WTHR)
