We receive hundreds of thank-you emails every week, and often you ask how you can support us. If you’ve gotten something out of being subscribed to INDYtoday, like finding that life-changing concert in our Events section or using our City Guides to plan the perfect way to spend the day with family, we couldn’t be more honored to be a part of your life — and we’re calling on you now to help support our mission with a donation.

ICYMI, air travel has been... well, turbulent lately.
If you’re traveling for the holidays, why not take the train instead? Here’s everything you need to know about hopping on Amtrak.
Meet the Cardinal
If you’re leaving from the downtown station, you’ll be riding on the Cardinal route. This train travels three times a week between New York and Chicago with 36 stops along the scenic way.
Wi-Fi | The Cardinal has free Wi-Fi, and you’re allowed to use your phone the entire ride.
Food + drink | This train offers cafe service, plus free hot meals for sleeper car passengers.
Accommodations | The Cardinal features Viewliner sleeper cars with private roomettes and bedrooms. Pro tip: Book sleeper cars well in advance, as they fill up quickly.
Amtrak bedrooms can easily accommodate small families for a comfortable, private travel experience.
If you are traveling through IND this holiday season, keep an eye out for newly added exhibit “The Tuskegee Airmen: America’s Freedom Flyers.” Pieces throughout the airport honoring the legacy of the airmen will be on view through March 26. (WTHR)
