Google’s 2025 Year in Search is out, and its local search function provides an interesting peek into our city’s queries. Take a look at what we were searching most this year.
Top trending songs | It was a huge year for “KPop Demon Hunters.” “Golden” by HUNTR/X took the top spot, with “Soda Pop” by Saja Boys ringing in at No. 4. Sadly, no local artists made the list — but you can always remedy that.
Top ticket search | Above all else, Hoosiers were trying to go to the Indiana Pacers Watch Party. Interestingly, tickets to the actual NBA Finals themselves ranked at No. 4.
“What does [slang] mean?” | “67" was the most puzzling trend that had Hoosiers turning to Google for answers.

Don’t have plans for NYE yet? If your idea of a good time centers more on food and less on alcohol, grab one of the last remaining dinner reservations at Daisy Bar. Their special menu leaves absolutely nothing to be desired — I’m eyeing the tuna ssambap and the miso caramel chocolate tart.
