For Valentine’s Day 2024, we made a map of local places where our readers have made memories. We asked for your help compiling everything from proposals to making friends. You did not disappoint.

Explore these local love stories by clicking on the hearts, but there’s just a few love stories that we just had to share:

  • “My husband and I met as interns at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis in 2017! We were interning for different departments but always found each other in the intern work room. He always made me smile. At the internship party at the end of the summer, we kissed for the very first time (the liquid courage helped a bit). Both heading back to Purdue to finish our senior year, we started dating and never stopped. We just got married this past July! And even invited a few of our former intern classmates!” — Natalie + Nate P.
  • “My husband and I met six years ago at Square Cat Vinyl. He was playing a show there with his band. The previous week I had been sick, so I jumped at the opportunity to go out when my best friend invited me. We had a great time and enjoyed the band so much! I was immediately smitten with him after talking to him at the merch table. After some creeping on his social media, I followed him on Instagram that night. Later in the week he asked if anyone wanted to take him out for Valentine’s Day in an Instagram poll. I was the only lady to reply “Mmm yassss” and the rest is history...” — Anonymous reader
  • “Al and I met in 2018 at November Project - a free fitness community that meets at 6 a.m. Wednesdays at the War Memorial to workout. Love is the ultimate workout!” — Teresa H.

Now we’re really feeling the love.
