Want to become a corn star? Whether you’re a professional or backyard amateur, you’re invited to take part in the first annual Indy Cornhole Classic on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 2 to 6 p.m. at American Legion Mall downtown.

This is going to be an amaizing celebration of the sport + a family-friendly festival in support of veterans.

There will be both a recreational and a competitive “bring your own partner” doubles tournament. In addition to the cornhole tournament, a family-friendly festival will be hosted in Veterans Memorial Park, including food trucks, games, and activities from Big Car Collaborative.

Bonus: While you’re downtown, pay a visit to the Indiana War Memorial and Museum — it will stay open an extra hour (until 6 p.m.) on Aug. 19 only.

All proceeds from the Indy Cornhole Classic will support veterans + Indy’s collection of monuments and memorials. Register for the tournament.
