Now open

The Fountain Room, 830 Mass Ave., Ste. 1480

As of today, you can stop by this supper club brand-new to the Bottleworks District. Serving up steaks, seafood + plenty of apps, this place is a great spot to take a date or family before catching a movie at the Living Room Theater. Pro tip: Impress your friends or colleagues by booking one of its private rooms for your next event.

Breadworks, 1050 E. 54th St.
Stop + smell the flour. This much-anticipated bakery from Greencastle opened up its second location in Broad Ripple on Tues., July 19 + it’s been doughing out donuts, pastries + loafs ever since.

Big Bear Biscuits, 3905 E. 96th St.

We told you about this place when it opened + judging by your response, it’s become quite popular. With mimosa flights, an outdoor patio, and mouthwatering biscuits dishes, brunch plans just got a little easier.

Hard Truth Distilling Co., The Fashion Mall at Keystone

Located in the food court where HoiTea ToiTea used to be (don’t worry it only moved a few feet away), this new Hard Truth opened just a couple of days ago. With another location in the Garage Food Hall, this spiritmaker distills its whiskey a little differently — meaning each batch begins with entirely fresh ingredients.

Grump’s Slice Stop, 2201 E. 46th St.

You can now get your ‘za at this sister business to Futuro on the north side next to Black Circle. Nothing goes together quite like a pint of Fieldhouse Wheat with a big slice of pepperoni and banana pepper.

Coming soon

Quills Coffee, 941 N. Meridian St.

The caffeine shop spilled the tea on its new spot on Instagram + it looks like it’s getting dangerously close to being our new go-to meeting place. It’s moving from its location near the canal to just steps away from that silver bison statue you’ve probably seen during your downtown commute.

Eating Fresh, 6255 N. College Ave.

The new Vietnamese place next to The Vogue will offer fresh local ingredients in its hot pots, skewered kebabs + phở — serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We don’t have an open date yet, but we’ll keep you in the loop. In the meantime, you can daydream about its desserts.

Paco’s Taqueria, 9802 US-421, Carmel

Set to operate 9 a.m.-8 p.m. daily, this growing taco spot will have its first location in Carmel very soon, as well as a taco truck parked outside. Can’t wait to bring home a Paco’s Box for the family? Stop by its location on Keystone Avenue or Thompson Road.

Queen Eggroll, 773 E. Main St., Brownsburg

This restaurant should open sometime in September with Filipino cuisine fit for royalty. Think: crab rangoons, lumpia + unusual eggrolls. We hear chicken Alfredo + peach cobbler rangoons are part of this spot’s repertoire.

Sweetgreen + Green District, Nora Corners Shopping Center

Sweet greens are made of these. Not one, but three new fast-casual salad spots are popping up around the city soon. Tomorrow is the grand opening of this Green District’s second location in Indy. Plus, Sweetgreen has plans to open in the Ardmore downtown + the Fashion Mall at Keystone sometime this year, but we haven’t heard exact dates yet.
