• Sojos Capital, the firm spearheading the redevelopment of Lafayette Square Mall, broke ground on its community center project at 3540 Commercial Dr. (the former Aldi’s location) yesterday. • It’s a bird... It’s a plane... It’s a flamingo? There have been several recent reports of flamingo sightings in southeastern Indiana. Our state is one of at least 11 that has recorded sightings since early September, a phenomenon that could be due to displacement caused by Hurricane Idalia. (WISH)
