"[Indiana is] Hollywood right now,” said Indiana Fever’s Erica Wheeler during a recent media interview. All eyes are on Indiana basketball right now, especially with the arrival of Caitlin Clark, and the team is embracing it.
WNBA ticket sales are soaring + teams are even booking bigger venues for when Clark and the team come to town, according to IBJ. It’s a highly anticipated season, and lucky for us Hoosiers, we won’t have to go far to witness the Fever play.
The first preseason game is today against the Dallas Wings in Texas. To help make sure you don’t miss the action, we’re sharing a season preview to get you hyped up to cheer on women’s basketball.
Caitlin Clark was the No. 1 draft pick selected by the Indiana Fever.
Want to watch the Fever from the comfort of your home? Our local news partner, TEGNA, has teamed up with the Indiana Fever to broadcast games locally on WTHR (Channel 13). The broadcast schedule will include 17 Fever games — including the home opener on Thursday, May 16. Ten of the games will be shown for free over the air on WTHR, and seven of the games will be on WALV, which carries MeTV programming and is on Channel 13.3 and 46.1.

I’m loving all the national attention Indiana basketball is getting, both with the Pacers making the Playoffs + the Indiana Fever getting Caitlin Clark. I had so much fun at the Fever Draft Party and it was cool to see so many people excited about women’s basketball. Take a look.
