"[Indiana is] Hollywood right now,” said Indiana Fever’s Erica Wheeler during a recent media interview. All eyes are on Indiana basketball right now, especially with the arrival of Caitlin Clark, and the team is embracing it.

WNBA ticket sales are soaring + teams are even booking bigger venues for when Clark and the Indiana Fever to come to town, according to IBJ. It’s a highly anticipated season, and lucky for us Hoosiers, we won’t have to go far to witness the Fever play.

The first preseason game is today against the Dallas Wings in Texas. To help make sure you don’t miss the action, we’re sharing a season preview to get you hyped up to cheer on women’s basketball.

UPDATE: Due to the Pacers home playoff schedule for the Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Fever preseason game originally scheduled for Friday, May 10 has been moved to Thursday, May 9.

  • Monday, May 20 — Connecticut Sun vs. Indiana Fever

  • Saturday, June 1 — Chicago Sky vs. Indiana Fever

Want to watch the Fever from the comfort of your home? Our local news partner, TEGNA, has teamed up with the Indiana Fever to broadcast games locally on WTHR (Channel 13). The broadcast schedule will include 17 Fever games — including the home opener on Thursday, May 16. Ten of the games will be shown for free over the air on WTHR, and seven of the games will be on WALV, which carries MeTV programming and is on Channel 13.3 and 46.1.
