If you won’t be able to make it to the polls in November, you may apply for absentee voting — if you meet one of the state’s 12 approved criteria. You must submit an application by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24. Reminder: The deadline to register to vote is Monday, Oct. 7. (WISH)

Marvella, a new youth sports complex geared toward women athletes, is coming to northwest Indiana. The $98 million project will occupy 120 acres in Fair Oaks, with fields + courts for a variety of sports, an arena for championship events, training facilities, a media center, and a museum. (IBJ)
