City Editor Shea here. As a foodie, I’ve spent years bookmarking cool new culinary confections I find on social media — only to discover they’re available at one tiny shop halfway across the world.
Fortunately, things are changing around here, with lots of trendy, Insta-ready foods popping up around Indy. Here are a handful you should add to your to-eat list.
Korean corn dog | Spotted at Mochinut, CM Korean Fried Chicken, Korn’s (inside Saraga International Grocery) This fever dream of a treat is basically a corn dog (or cheese dog) that you can have encrusted with crispy potatoes, ramen, Hot Cheetos and more, with dipping sauce on the side. I ate it in my car in the parking lot, tears silently streaming down my face.
TeaG’s egg waffle ice cream sundae options include this cute cookie monster.

The best two-piece sweatsuit for running errands, work-from-home days, or cozy weekends. We love the knit fabric and the roomy turtleneck design for extra comfort.
Hungry for more unique foods? Take a weekend trip up to Fort Wayne and stop at Bravas for brunch. A few days ago, I tried their breakfast crunch wrap — sausage, eggs, lettuce, tomato, a crispy tortilla, a massive homemade hash brown, and their signature spicy sauce all wrapped up in a pocket of pure heaven.
