Part of Georgia Street between Gainbridge Fieldhouse + the Convention Center could close west of Illinois Street as early as this week for utility work related to the Signia Hotel construction. It won’t reopen until 2026 — as the city plans to remodel the road. (WRTV)

Development
The five-story Homewood Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown at 211 S. Meridian St. has been acquired by MHG Hotels LLC for $18.7 million. The Indianapolis-based hotelier plans to spend ~$3 million to renovate the property. (IBJ)

Teriyaki Madness, a fast-casual Asian restaurant chain, is planning to open a location on the southeast side near I-65 and County Line Road. It’s expected to open in May at 8545 S. Emerson Ave. (IBJ)
Closing
The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis plans to close its location downtown at the historic Athenaeum building on Friday, March 28. The notice said that members of the YMCA are welcome at all locations + no transfers or sign-ups are required to change locations after this one closes. (IBJ)
