Construction on the 24-mile Blue Line is expected to start soon, stretching from IND all the way to Cumberland. If you have questions, IndyGo is hosting several meetings this week for the public to learn more about traffic impacts + road closures. (WTHR)

A dinner theater experience is coming to the north side of the Murat Shrine Center. More than $100,000 in upgrades will be made to the Arabian Room, which will seat 180 guests per brunch, lunch, or dinner show. The first show opens on Friday, May 2. Get tickets.

Call it a glitch in the matrix or just a cool coincidence: Two car-related companies announced major growth in nearby cities. Carvana is expanding its operations in Plainfield to create 200 new jobs, while Evolve Transporters is building a new headquarters in Noblesville, creating 210 new jobs. (WTHR)

    Westfield, phone home. This week the city approved a $1.2 billion plan for Grand Universe, a new four-district development centered on space + science education.

    Here’s a lightspeed look at what could be included in the 66-acre campus:
    • Grand Universe District: The 170,000-sqft Grand Universe Center for Science and Space Exploration (which will include a planetarium), The Johnson Hagerman Center for Science and Space Exploration, and a STEM pavilion with events and amenities
    • Resort District: A hotel for visitors
    • Sports Entertainment District: Sports, arts, and entertainment facilities, outdoor plazas, and a park with paths connecting to the Monon Trail
    • Town Center District: Commercial and mixed-use buildings with retail space, office space, and high-density multifamily housing
    Take a look at a map of the area and dozens of renderings. No timeline for work has been released yet.

    Bubbakoo’s Burritos opened yesterday at 3826 E. 82nd St., offering some pretty unique takes on burritos from around the world. I was helpless against the Nashville hot chicken burrito, in which the mild spice played beautifully with the cilantro rice.
