News Notes

Sports

It’s all in the family. The Colts announced team ownership has transferred from late owner Jim Irsay to his daughters — Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey Foyt, and Kalen Jackson. They will also act as CEO, executive vice president, and chief brand officer and president of the Indianapolis Colts Foundation respectively. (WTHR)

Number

$6 million. That’s how much estimated revenue downtown businesses could see from each NBA Finals home game. Find out how bars like The Dugout and Howl at the Moon are welcoming guests with specials + watch parties. (WTHR)

Community

Zionsville Parks and Recreation launched a “Love for Lincoln” campaign to preserve + renovate Lincoln Park, where Honest Abe himself gave a speech in 1861. Plans include a larger gazebo, new walkways, a fountain, and more. Volunteer or donate. (WISH)

Health

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Specifically, ones you may have bought from Walmart in the last few months, as they may be part of a salmonella recall. Here’s how to check your purchase. (IndyStar)
