What’s much sweeter than buying your berries from the supermarket? Picking them yourself. It’s u-pick season at farms across central Indiana, so we’ve put together a list of where you can find the juiciest strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries.

Spencer Berry Farm | 7177 E. 161st St., Noblesville
This Noblesville favorite expects asparagus to be available soon, with strawberries following close behind. They get picked over quickly, so keep an eye out for updates — or visit for red raspberry picking beginning around mid-June or grapes beginning around mid-August.

Beasley’s Orchard’s buckets make a fun take-home souvenir that you can bring back for next year’s harvest.

Beasley’s Orchard | 2304 E. Main St., Danville
Beasley’s makes berry picking as easy as strawberry pie. Starting in late May, you can walk or take the free hayride shuttle to the strawberry patch, and the buckets the farm provides are yours to keep. U-pick raspberry season is expected to begin in June as well. Pro tip: Make sure you don’t miss the farm store for fresh eggs + meats, homemade baked goods, nostalgic candies, and even young seedlings so you can start your own berry patch.

Have another farm you love? We’re berry curious.
