Well, that’s not quite true — because there are definitely joints that cater to nighttime eaters with late-night meals of everything from pizza to burgers to hot chicken. Save this list for the next time you’ve got an after-hours craving.

Indy All Night | Open until 4 a.m. Monday-Saturday
This Bates-Hendricks spot caters to Indy’s night owls, delivering hot, fresh meals to businesses, hotels, and homes. Feed your cravings with menu options ranging from pastas to burgers to desserts.

Easy Rider Diner | Open until 12 a.m. Friday-Saturday
This diner adjacent to the Hi-Fi provides late night comfort food to artists and concert-goers. Make a reservation.

Leonardo’s Mexican Food | Open 24/7
Whether you’re craving a chicken burrito at 5 a.m. or a breakfast burrito at 5 p.m., this restaurant offers its full menu at any hour, and the drive thru is open around the clock.

1313 Eatery | Open until 4 a.m. Thursday-Saturday
Head here for wings, burgers, biscuits, and more — and top your meal with the 1313 magic sauce, which you can only buy in-house. Bonus: Every Thursday, the restaurant hosts an open mic night at 8 p.m., and the best performance wins a free meal + is featured in next week’s show.

World Famous Hotboys | Open until 2 a.m. Friday-Saturday
Add some spice to your night out by stopping at this hot chicken restaurant. We recommend sharing a sandwich and order of guap fries. Plus, there’s a second Indiana location in Carmel.

The Saint Shack | Open until 3 a.m.
Go marching into this New Orleans-inspired bar where you’ll find full food and drink menus. It specializes in hot dogs, with some out-of-the-box recipes that you can wash down with a colorful adult slushie.

Downtown Olly’s | Open until 3 a.m.
The 2022 bar and restaurant expo named Olly’s the best LGBTQ+ venue of the year. In addition to its delicious food and drinks, it has an events calendar full of drag shows, karaoke, and trivia nights.

Kilroy’s Bar N’ Grill | Downtown location open until 2 a.m. Friday-Saturday
Grab a bite to eat at one of Kilroy’s two Indy locations. Pro tip: Its patio in Broad Ripple is dog friendly, so come early + spend the evening with your pup.

Slippery Noodle Inn | Open until 2 a.m. Friday-Saturday, 1 a.m. Wednesday-Thursday, 12 a.m. Tuesday, 11 p.m. Sunday-Monday
Indy’s oldest bar is steps away from Lucas Oil + regularly hosts live blues performances from both local and national artists. We recommend the “Dirty Elvis” shot made with banana vodka and chocolate peanut butter whiskey.

Mass Avenue Pub | Open until 3 a.m.
Spend the day in the Arts District and the evening sipping on the bar’s eclectic beers, meals, and snacks — we love the “Tot-chos,” tater tots topped like they’re nachos.
