This fall, the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI) is excited to bring back the 2025 Lee Supply Corp Home-A-Rama — returning to the beautiful Chatham Hills community in Westfield.

Next month, homebuyers, design enthusiasts, and residents are invited to tour seven stunning custom homes built by eight of Central Indiana’s leading custom home builders.

Here’s the scoop on what’s in store.

A showcase of custom craftsmanship


This year’s Home-A-Rama features show homes from a lineup of diverse and innovative local builders, including:
  • Custom Living
  • AR Homes
  • McKenzie Pierrot Homes
  • aaNovo Design Build
  • Randy Shaffer Custom Homes & Kent Shaffer Homes
  • Scott B. Campbell Custom Homes & Development
  • Sigma Builders
Each home highlights the latest architectural trends, interior design ideas, and smart-home technology — from bright, open floor plans to smooth indoor-outdoor living spaces.

Prices range from about $1.85 million to $4.59 million, offering a wide variety of luxury and style to explore.

If you can’t make opening weekend, don’t worry — there are plenty of chances to visit.

Show homes will be open Thursday through Sunday across three weekends:
  • Sept. 11-14
  • Sept. 18-21
  • Sept. 25-28
Show homes open at 12 p.m. and stay open until 8 p.m. for scheduled ticket holders. Pro tip: Timed-entry options are available.

Community

The Indiana State Fair is making an update to its policy on unaccompanied minors. As of Tuesday, individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or chaperone over the age of 25 if visiting the fair after 6 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, and 4 p.m. Friday-Sunday. (WISH)

More than 150 Indy-area restaurants are set to participate in Devour Indy’s Summerfest, and now foodies can get a sneak peek at the menus before the event kicks off on Monday, Aug. 18 through Sunday, Aug. 31. Which menu item are you most eager to try? Give us the scoop. (WISH)

Award

Three Indy nonprofits have been recognized as Nonprofits of the Year in the publication’s inaugural awards for their outstanding community contributions. Wheeler Mission, Lutheran Child and Family Services, and Dove Recovery House for Women took home the top honors in the Large, Medium, and Small categories, respectively. Talk

Nonprofit media organization TED will launch its first-ever sports-centric conference in Indianapolis this fall. The inaugural event will take place at Old National Centre Tuesday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 11 + feature networking, workshops, and talks with industry leaders like Charlie Baker, Jeremy Bloom, and Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Wellness

Sweat it out. Wellness studio SweatHouz has been announced as Bottleworks District’s next Phase II tenant. Planned for North College Avenue, visitors can expect to experience infrared saunas, cold plunges, and vitamin C showers to amplify their health + wellness journeys. An opening date is TBA.

Carmel’s 11th annual Rain on Main event will pour into town Friday, Aug. 15.-Saturday, Aug. 23. Browse the 20 decorated barrels throughout the Arts & Design District, then vote online for your favorite to win People’s Choice. Pro tip: You can even bid to take your favorite barrel home.
