🧱 The 11 wonders of Indianapolis

Step aside, Hollywood sign. Indy is home to some legendary landmarks. Here are a few we think are the most iconic:

Soldiers and Sailors Monument

The iconic structure is only 15 feet shorter than the Statue of Liberty. When the observation deck is open, you can get a 360-degree view of the skyline.

Bottleworks District

This bustling food and entertainment mecca was once part of the world’s largest Coca-Cola bottling plant.

Madam Walker Legacy Center

This building is the only early 20th century structure that still stands in the 600 block of the avenue and is dedicated to America’s first self-made woman millionaire.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Well, this one’s fairly obvious. When it’s not May, the track is used for events including vintage car shows + grand prix races.

“Ann Dancing”

This piece by London artist Julian Opie keeps the party going on Mass Ave day and night.
