Are the leaves turning yet? With Indy’s fall colors starting to emerge, there’s no better time to take a promenade in the park. Here are a few spots where you’re sure to find some incredible autumnal vistas.
Eagle Creek Park, 7840 W. 56th St.
Explore 3,900 acres of woods or get out on the reservoir for a different perspective of the changing trees.

Downtown’s most popular park provides fun for the whole family. Walk along the west side for some beautiful autumnal colors, or make a detour inside the Indianapolis Zoo for ZooBoo.
Garfield Park, 2345 Pagoda Dr.
Known as the city’s “oldest multi-use greenspace,” this 128-acre park offers multiple gardens to get lost in. Bonus: Visit in the evening hours on Wednesday, Oct. 22 or Thursday, Oct. 23 for the Haunted Conservatory. The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park, 1850 W. 38th St.
