Whether you like a dash of spooky in your cinema or want to watch something that will you keep you up for three days straight, here’s where you can find scary movies screening all month long.

Kan-Kan Says Boo | Saturday, Sept. 27-Friday, Oct. 31 | Times vary | $10+ | Locations vary | The theater is presenting a top-notch selection of spooky films and coordinating events this Halloween season. Our favorites include an outdoor screening of “Death Becomes Her” and a wine and cheese mini-class paired with “Train To Busan.”

31 Days of Halloween | Wednesday, Oct. 1-Friday, Oct. 31 | Times vary | Alamo Drafthouse Cinema | $7+ | Challenge yourself to a 31-day marathon of classics that have defined the horror genre — or try to make it through just one screening.

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” 50th Anniversary with Patricia Quinn | Saturday, Oct. 4 | Old National Centre | $38+ | Let’s do the Time Warp again at this special screening, complete with a live shadow cast, audience participation, complimentary prop bags, a costume contest, and the original Magenta.

“Evil Dead” In Concert | Thursday, Oct. 9 | 9 p.m. | Old National Centre | $43+ | Cheer Ash on as the cult classic film is screened with a live ensemble performing the original musical score.

October Movie Matinee | Thursday, Oct. 16 | 1 p.m. | Carmel Clay Main Library | Free | Bring your own non-alcoholic beverage and your bravest face for a screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds.” Popcorn will be provided. Don’t forget to register in advance.

“Ghostbusters” | Tuesday, Oct. 21 | 7 p.m. | Schrott Center for the Arts | Free | Who you gonna call to attend this free screening with you?

Irvington Halloween Festival Family Movie Night | Wednesday, Oct. 22 | Dusk | Crystal Creek Farm | Free | Catch an outdoor screening of “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.” Pro tip: Make sure you show up early so you can check out the haunted corn maze and get a good seat by the bonfire.

“Ghostbusters” FanFest | Tuesday, Oct. 28 | 6:30 p.m. | Flix Brewhouse, Carmel | $12 | Prove you ain’t afraid of no ghost at this screening complete with themed menu offerings and a free collectible glass.
