This code is specific to Beech Grove, where watermelon rinds tore through the bags of park trash cans often enough that somebody made a law about it. City board members have confirmed the existence of the law, but we couldn’t find any record of it ever being enforced — so munch at your own risk.
It is illegal for kids under 14 to swear.
Bet you didn’t know the city had a swear jar. This law is reportedly still included in the general ordinances of Indianapolis.
It is illegal to throw a snowball across the street.
This odd law is still in place in Warsaw. Someone call Buddy the Elf.
The Colts are about to get sauced. The team reportedly traded its first-round draft picks in 2026 and 2027 in exchange for the Jets’ star cornerback Sauce Gardner — the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL. (IBJ)
