Ready to get groovy, Indy? Record Store Day is just around the corner and we’ve rounded up five record stores that are in tune with your musical needs + ready to celebrate Record Store Day.

Square Cat Vinyl, 1054 Virginia Ave.

Starting at 8 a.m., this Fountain Square hangout will be playing live music by several local musicians like Joshua Powell and selling exclusive RSD releases — including Taylor Swift titles. The first 50 record-buying customers will receive a free giveaway bag.

Karma Records, Multiple locations

Karma is the oldest independent record store in Indy with three locations on the east, west + north side of town. You’ll be able to buy hundreds of RSD exclusive titles here, plus get entered to win a number of prizes.

Irvington Vinyl & Books, 202 S. Audubon Rd.

The east side staple will be offering several discounts on Record Store Day, including 10% off new albums and 20% off all used vinyl. Plus, it’ll have a huge $1 record sale.

Indy CD & Vinyl, 806 Broad Ripple Ave.

The vinyl shop says there will be something for everyone here on Record Store Day. Follow along on social media to find out what exclusives it’ll have in stock for you.

Luna Music, 5202 N. College Ave.

For those looking to snack while they shop, this SoBro favorite will have beer from Black Circle + scoops from Circles Ice Cream again, in addition to live music all day and its annual sidewalk sale, starting at 10 a.m.

And if you’re lacking a turntable in your life (or maybe yours just needs an update), snag a turntable with Bluetooth connectivity or one with 36-watt bookshelf speakers.
