We love Indy + know you do too. To show the Circle City a little love this Valentine’s Day, we asked you to share with us why you love our city.

For us, it’s the opportunity to fall in love with the city every day as we research + write stories for you.

Here’s what you said:

“Quite simply, Indy is home. I was lucky enough to be born and raised here, and fortunate to attend Butler University. I’ve worked at @indylibrary for nearly 40 years. My wife is also an Indy native. For me, there is just no place like home.” — @lectriclib

“The cost of living and access to good local food spots!” — @indyblogsociety

“As a Michigan implant our Greenwood (shout out Center Grove) community has helped our family in ways we could not have imagined. Our neighborhood friends are really an extension of our family. #theyshowupforus” — @theallpurposewoman

“Born & Raised ❤️ & the food/drink scene is a MAJOR bonus! 🙌” — @kay.daye

“Love how it has changed over the years. And love how traffic is sooooo much better than many other cities we have visited. You can get to so many areas of town with such different atmospheres so easily and quickly. And we love experiencing the city in a new way as small business owners - it’s shown us an entire side of the city we never really understood. Such a thriving place for small business!” — @indydirectdocs

“The 👏 people 👏 are 👏 amazing.” — @thecitymoms

“The sports atmosphere!!! from high school to professional!” — @mrsisabellacatherine

“We love all the people we get to meet! There are so many people of every age and stage of life and from different countries and backgrounds. The stories of these people are amazing! Also, the creativity in Indy is awesome! 🙌” — @bendaviscc

“I love that Indy is big enough that there’s always something to do but small enough that it never feels overwhelming!” — @cityofshay

Community and inclusiveness!” — @chelseaschwa
