In the spirit of supporting all things local, we’ve rounded up eight farmers markets in the Indy area where you’ll find fresh food, live music, and local vendors.

Don’t forget to bring your mat every other Thursday.

Fort Ben Farmers Market | Thursdays, June-October | 4-7 p.m.

  • Features: Farmers, food trucks + local vendors
  • Parking: Free parking in surrounding lots
  • Space: Mostly tented outdoors at the Fort Ben Cultural Campus
  • Special events: Free yoga instruction every other Thursday

The Original Farmers Market | Wednesdays, May-October | 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

  • Features: “Buy 2 Give 1 ” donation program to support downtown’s unhomed community
  • Parking: Street parking
  • Space: Mostly tented on Monument Circle

Garfield Park Farmers Market | Saturdays, May-October | 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

  • Features: Local farmers, small businesses, and food trucks
  • Parking: All of the park’s lots are free
  • Space: Mostly tented outdoors

Broad Ripple Farmers Market | Saturdays, May-October | 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

  • Features: Live music in addition to local vendors
  • Parking: Free parking in lot adjacent to the market
  • Space: Mostly tented outdoors in parking lot behind Glendale Lowe’s
  • Special events: Pet costume contests are a tradition during Halloween

Black Cat Bakery is a popular tent at the SoBro Farmers Market.

SoBro Farmers Market | Wednesdays, May-September | 4:30-7:30 p.m.

  • Features: Farmers + local vendors
  • Parking: Free parking in surrounding lots
  • Space: Mostly tented in lot across from Upland Brewing on College Ave.

Binford Farmers Market | Saturdays, May-September | 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

  • Features: 80 local vendors with produce + handmade crafts
  • Parking: Free parking adjacent to market
  • Space: Mostly tented outside Northview Church

Irvington Farmers Market | Every second Sunday, June-October | 12-3 p.m.

  • Features: Local nonprofits + antiques, as well as farmers and local businesses
  • Parking: Free parking in all park lots, but walking or biking there is encouraged
  • Space: Mostly tented at Ellenberger Park

Pike Farmers Market | Saturdays, June-September | 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

  • Features: Over 30 farmers + local vendors
