Jeff Wheeler, IBEW’s Business Manager, says, ”Hundreds of men and women volunteer their time year after year for this great tradition, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Did you know? Since 1982, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) has volunteered to hand check each and every bulb on 52 individual garland strands hung at the Indiana State Fairgrounds for the Circle of Lights®, ensuring a safer, more beautiful event.

That’s 4,784 individual lights, if you’re counting.

This year’s light check is happening today, and Hoosiers can see the lights in all their glory on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at Monument Circle. See more de-light-ful details.
