More than 120 native artists from around the country will be stopping by the Eiteljorg Museum downtown for the 31st annual Eiteljorg Indian Market & Festival on June 24-25.
Inside and outside the museum, you’ll find pottery, jewelry, beadwork, weavings, carvings, and paintings for sale by members of state-recognized tribes. Artists will also be competing in a juried art competition over the weekend with a cash prize in various categories.
Performances by family dance company Yellow Bird Dancers , multimedia artist Firefly the Hybrid , and other artists will take place throughout the festival. Traditional food like fry bread will be available from a number of food trucks parked outside.
Haven’t had a chance to check out the reimagined “Expressions of Life: Native Art in North America” galleries yet? Now’s your chance. Admission is included with your tickets, which go on sale starting Monday, May 1.
