Golf fans, get excited. Soon, you won’t have to drive all the way up to Fishers to have a “Top Golf”-esque outing with friends + family.
A golfing entertainment venue — planning to open in the spring of 2022 — broke ground near the White River, just outside of downtown on the southeast corner of Drover + W. Morris Streets.
Back 9 will be a 3-story building complete with 75 golf bays, a 350-person music pavilion, space for bars and restaurants, meeting rooms + a game area.

The project will cost about $30 million with a goal of connecting the river to the Old Southside and Stadium Village neighborhoods just to the east.
Not only will the development bring new entertainment jobs + expand the retail and hospitality industry — it will also kick-start and reactive excitement around the river’s edge.
The venue will also highlight an ecological asset to the city and is within a stone’s throw of other major sites such as the Indianapolis Zoo, the Indiana Convention Center + Lucas Oil Stadium, making it the perfect location for some fun and entertainment.
